These wings are a true stand by, and you probably will not want to stand by anyone who ate them, but who cares… they rock!!    I love to serve these with a sweet chili sauce, such an awesome twist on wings.  Enjoy.

40 Clove Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • 2-3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 40 garlic cloves, peeled, and smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place wings in a single layer in large baking dish or a couple ziploc bags (but put them in/on something in case they leak.)
  3. Combine ingredients and pour over wings
  4. Marinate about an hour
  5. Transfer to baking/sheet pans. (even broiler pans work great)
  6. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Uncover and broil until browned.
