I love hot sandwiches of all kinds, the Monte Cristo is just so fun and different, and you get a little extra protein from dipping it in the egg and milk.  They also hold up well as an appetizer if you cut them into quarters and secure with a toothpick.  They won’t hardly dry out while sitting on the platter.
