Asiago Cheese Bread

  • 1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese (you can use all asiago if you like...I split it to keep the cost down)
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzerella or cheddar
  • 1 clove minced garlic, or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • Gluten Free Bread. I like to use Udi's Gluten Free Hot Dog Buns, this recipe will make 4-6 half buns depending on how thick you like your topping. (I usually get 4)

  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Asiago, garlic, mayonnaise, oregano, thyme, parsley, salt and pepper. If the mixture does not hold together well, add more mayonnaise, if desired.
  3. On a baking sheet, arrange the gluten free bread slices in a single layer. Spread the Asiago mixture on the bread.
  4. Broil for 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  5. Serve immediately.
