A holiday week planner is tough, you never know what a household will be doing this week.  I have included 2 Thanksgiving leftover ideas, one for turkey and one for ham.

Sunday 11/20 – Easy Gluten Free Teriyaki Chicken with fast and easy Hawaiian Rice , with steamed vegetables or a big salad.  Leftover Alert:  this is a big batch of chicken, we will use 2 cups chopped on Wednesday.  Reserve 1/4 cup sauce.

Monday 11/21 – Fish Piccata with Garlic Lemon Pasta and steamed vegetables

Tuesday 11/22 –  Italian Enchilada Casserole with a Caesar Salad

Wednesday 11/23 – Hula Joes – Take your 2 cups chopped Teriyaki Chicken, chop it even finer and mix with 1/4 cup leftover sauce, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup ketchup, and 1 teaspoon brown sugar.  Heat in a medium sauce pan over medium heat until warm. Serve on your favorite Gluten Free Buns or bread, with steamed carrots and broccoli.
BBQ Hawaiian Pizza – Top your favorite Gluten Free Pizza Crusts with a mix of your reserved sauce, 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce, followed by shredded cheese (any kind will be good) and thinly sliced onions, bell peppers, and pineapple if you have it.

Thursday 11/24 –  Happy Thanksgiving!   Green Bean Casserole     Udi’s Gluten Free Stuffing      Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Leftover Alert:  Save 2-3 cups of chopped turkey and 2 cups of mashed potatoes for your chowder on Saturday.  If you have ham, set back about a pound and a half.

Friday 11/25 –  Ham and Potato Casserole . This for me always goes with Asparagus, but use any vegetable you like.  Or you can try the Ham Kebabs.

Saturday 11/26 –  Southwest Turkey Chowder , with Cheddar Bread (Sprinkle a little shredded cheddar on your favorite GF bread and toast.  Let cool, and cut into triangles)  Or you can try Chicken (turkey) and Dumplings
